How Much Does It Cost to Rent a Rolls-Royce, and Why Do Rates Differ?

With any Rolls-Royce car rental, three things move the price more than anything else.

The first is the model. The Cullinan is an SUV and the Dawn is a four-seat convertible. They’re priced differently because they do different jobs, and the Cullinan sits at the top of our Rolls-Royce rates.

The second is the length of rental. Every rate on our site is quoted per day. A one-day wedding booking and a three-day weekend for visiting clients start from the same daily figure, multiplied out. If you need a car for a week or longer, ask for the total before you book.

The third is the occasion. A Saturday wedding in June and a Tuesday airport pickup are different requests. Dates in high demand book up first, and delivery to a venue or airport can add fees, which we’ll come back to below.

Rolls-Royce Cullinan Rental Price and Who Books It

Our white Cullinan is listed at $1,595 per day. It’s the car people choose when they need the presence of a Rolls-Royce and room for luggage or a wedding dress.

Rolls-Royce built the Cullinan as its first SUV. In its launch release for the Cullinan, the company describes a 6.75-liter twin-turbo V12 with 563 bhp, an all-wheel-drive, all-wheel-steer system, and a glass partition that separates the passenger cabin from the luggage compartment. That last detail matters in practice: bags ride behind the partition, and the cabin stays quiet and closed off from the trunk.

Who the Cullinan suits:

• Families heading to a celebration, where grandparents want to step up into a high seat without folding themselves into a low sedan
• Wedding parties, for the couple’s arrival and the getaway, with space for a gown
• Airport arrivals, when an executive or a guest lands with three suitcases and a dinner reservation at 8

Rolls-Royce Dawn Rental and When Open-Top Is Worth It

Our white Dawn is listed at $1,300 per day. Rolls-Royce’s Dawn press release calls it a full four-seater and says the roof operates in just over 20 seconds at speeds up to 50 km/h. Our listing puts it at about 563 horsepower and 0 to 60 mph in about 4.9 seconds.

A Rolls-Royce Dawn rental makes sense when the drive itself is part of the plan. That means the coast between Newport Beach and Laguna on a clear afternoon, a sunset arrival at a reception, or photos where you want the car and the people in the same frame without glass in the way.

It makes less sense for a run to the airport with luggage, or for anyone who will spend a long day in full sun and freeway wind. If the trip is mostly about getting four people somewhere comfortably, the Cullinan is the better buy. If it’s about the drive and the photos, the open top is worth the money.

What Is and Isn’t in the Price

These are the items people ask about most. Our terms of service set the general rules, and the specific numbers live in your rental agreement.

• Delivery. We deliver across Los Angeles and Orange County, and the car is detailed the morning of your rental. Delivery to airports, hotels and other locations may carry an extra fee.
• Mileage. Each rental’s mileage allowance is set in the rental agreement, and extra miles cost more.
• Deposit. A refundable security deposit is held on your credit card for every rental. It’s released after return, less any charges for damage, excess mileage, fuel, tolls or citations.
• Insurance. Drivers need proof of personal auto insurance and/or must meet our minimum coverage requirements.
• Age and taxes. Standard renters are 25 or older, and rates are subject to applicable taxes and fees.
• Cancellation. Cancel more than 72 hours before your start time for a full refund. Inside 72 hours, a fee of up to one day’s rate may apply.

Ask for the full total in writing when you request a quote, with tax, delivery and deposit listed separately. Check that your card limit can carry the deposit hold on top of the rental itself, especially if you’re traveling.
